However, as with many tales of joy, darkness lurked just beyond the horizon. It is whispered among the townsfolk that a beast of gluttony, a creature of insatiable hunger, escaped into the world during the tear between the Middle and Under Sanctuaries. This malevolent entity found its way to Gramma Nut, corrupting her mind with its dark influence. Her once joyful and innocent creation magic became twisted, and her delightful treats began to take on a macabre nature.
Gramma Nut's bakery, once a place of joy, transformed into a sinister den known as Sinful Temptations. She began to candy people and creatures, encasing them in sugary shells and selling these grotesque treats to unsuspecting customers. The townsfolk, drawn by the otherworldly flavors, did not realize the true horror behind these delicacies.
As the corruption spread, Gramma Nut herself underwent a horrifying transformation. Her body and soul became bound to dark magic, turning her into a lich. Her crimes did not go unnoticed, and the once-beloved baker became a figure of fear and revulsion.
Gale Stormbreaker, a formidable force of justice, took it upon himself to end Gramma Nut's reign of terror. Confronting her in a fierce battle, he banished her to a realm known as the Plates. This peculiar place was a prison of sorts, a land where her dark magic would be rendered harmless.
In the Plates, Gramma Nut found herself in a strange new world, confined to a peaceful hut made entirely of peanut brittle. Powerful magic prevented her from causing harm to the residents of this realm. Stripped of her ability to spread terror, she was left to reflect on her past and find a new purpose.
In her exile, Gramma Nut dedicated herself to a singular obsession: creating skull-shaped candies known as Gramma's Delights. These candies were no ordinary sweets. Imbued with the twisted remnants of her once-pure magic, they held a unique property. The undead, who craved a reminder of their lost humanity, found in these candies a fleeting taste of Foods they could no longer taste. For a brief moment, Gramma's Delights could restore the flavor of their mortal days.
Gramma's Delights became infamous among the denizens of the Plates and beyond. The undead sought these candies, desperate for the bittersweet reminder of their past lives. Despite her dark past, Gramma Nut found a semblance of purpose in her exile. Her talents, once used for evil, now brought a strange kind of solace to those who had lost everything.
And so, Gramma Anastasia Nuttington, the Lady of the Plates, lives on in her peanut brittle hut, a cautionary tale of the dangers of unchecked ambition and the corrupting power of dark forces.
