Hyara (Hi-Ara)

Hyara is the revered goddess of the hunt and warriors, known for her strength and prowess in both the pursuit of game and battle. Born in the ancient, mysterious woods, she embodies the primal aspects of nature and the valor of warriors.   Story:   In the primordial depths of ancient woods, where the light scarcely reached, Hyara emerged as a fierce and untamed force. The goddess was born from the very essence of the wilderness, clad in the hide of a Chimera. Her connection to nature is both profound and primal, and she is revered by those who seek her favor in the hunt and in battle.   Legend speaks of Hyara’s early days when she roamed the vast and untamed forests, her presence a blend of both awe and terror. As a huntress, she was unmatched, her skills honed through countless trials and her strength amplified by her divine heritage. The creatures of the forest revered her, for she was both their predator and protector, ensuring the balance of the natural world.   Hyara’s reputation extends to the battlefield as well. Warriors who seek her blessing are granted unparalleled prowess and honor. Holidays

The Great Hunt takes place on the full moon of the of Hyara, celebrating Hyara’s divine connection to the wilderness and martial prowess. During this festival, men and women venture into the woods to hunt, not just for game but also to resolve disputes and test their skills. Some small tribal groups of Orcs, Elves, Dragonkind and mortal also hunt for their for partners. A union made on the night of The Great Hunt is sad to be very powerful.   The festivities include martial contests where participants can earn pelts or gold as prizes. The Great Hunt is marked by intense competition and camaraderie, with the culmination being a grand feast where tales of heroism and skill are shared around the fire.   The celebration reflects Hyara’s dual role as both a fierce hunter and a noble warrior, embodying the spirit of the hunt and the valor of combat.
