The Water Bubble

The Gnomes of Asharia are certainly some of the best innovators in the world. After the discovery of the Aquarii in 1848, it was only a matter of time before they began working on a way to get down there themselves. They started work on the world's first submarine vehicle, but many of their early attempts were catastrophic failures. Many on the Islands found these attempts dangerous and deadly.   After much time had passed, the gnomes were able to create a large glass bubble that could travel to the depths. The first few trips were manned only by warforged of the Afterglow. Some felt the use of warforged was an unethical decision, while others on the islands had a vast fear of the unknown. Additionally, some believed this technology would give those of Asharia an unfair advantage in the Aquarii.   The Water Bubble eventually became a successful venture and vehicle. It is now piloted by various inhabitants of the islands, who frequently take trips to the underwater city of Caraballa. This innovation has opened a world of opportunity for those both above on the islands and below in the Tamaren Depths. Trips can be chartered through various Ports of Call in the Islands of Veil.
