Magic in the Veil

While magic exists within the Veil, it is not something the average person concerns themselves with directly. It is largely viewed as a force of great power, and one that should be respected. Outside of the larger settlements there is a sense of trepidation surrounding the world of the arcane.

Wizardry is only really practiced in the city of Garrigill due to the knowledge available in its libraries. While Sorcery is significantly rarer, it is rumoured that this form of natural magic may exist within the bloodlines of The Royal Family. Divine magic from the Gods may be sought out by those in need. Paladins and Clerics capable of casting such spells can be found in the larger, well established churches of The Veil.

Those that practice magic may find themselves praying to or otherwise communing with The Mage - the original source of all magic within this world.
