The Voyager's Universe

It's the distant future. Earth, once our home, was abandoned and humanity is scattered across the stars. But thankfully, we're not alone in the universe. Aliens of all shapes and sizes live within the Milky Way Galaxy. Some walk, or fly, or dig, or swim. Some are the most adorable lifeforms in the universe and some are something spawned from Cthulu's nightmares. As well as some gifted by one thing from evolution's endless experimentation: sentience.   How did these billions upon billions of sophonts come to know each other? Good ol' Zoom Space! This higher dimension can spaceships to bypass that pesky speed of light. Allowing species from all over the galaxy to meet each other from millions of miles away! However, this also led to terrible wars of unimaginable scale. Though none have ever ruled the entire Milky Way, not even the Forebearers.   Among those zipping around in Zoom Space are the Voyagers. Adventurers, scientists, and pilots exploring the cosmos in just as numerous spaceships. All with a desire to find the secrets of the universe and live their lives to their fullest... or they happen to be Space Pirates.
