The Pentarchate

The Pentarchate is a voting body composed of the five most powerful mages on the northern Sea of Fallen Stars. The five mages serve as counselors to the various House Lords and Guild Masters. Some are willing and ready to help any city, while others are reticent to help other factions. To have favor in the Pentarchate is to have incredible power.

Tybor Kaldorel

Archmage of Divination and Enchantment

Tybor Kaldorel was a favorite of King Sirrus Aubirrel. A prodigal student of Divination, he became a premier enchanter as well. He has always had a fascination with machinery, particularly clocks.
Tybor Kaldorel serves as Master of the Pentarchate. His Mage Tower is The Black Tower in Exaltia.

Cassidy Vincero

Archmage of Evocation

Cassidy Vincero is, perhaps, the strongest sorceror in the land. She is perhaps most famous for her role in defeating the Army of Darkness at the Battle of Ordulin, during which she summoned 7 mighty meteors from the sky.
Her Mage Tower is Swordspire Peak in the Thunder Peaks.

Daenorin Tildannor

Archmage of Nature and Planes

Where wild rivers flow, our strength follows.
Daenorin Tildannor serves as the representatives of Druids, Rangers, and all else who serve nature. As an elf, she is notoriously at odds with Kaldorel and Vincero, who prefer order over the chaos of wild magics.
Her Mage Tower is in the Golden Grove.

Benjym Augurath

Archmage of Transmutation, Abjuration

Benjym Augurath is a gnome wizard who studied both the ability to transmute the elements and create potent spells of protection. He was a key part of the defense of Ordulin during the Whispering War.
His Mage Tower is The Tower of the Guardian in Selgaunt, the City of Magic.

Zerathil

Archmage of Necromancy

By far the most enigmatic of the Pentarchate, Zerathil's true name is unknown. He is feared by commoners and nobles alike, leading to the rumor that he is only included on the Pentarchate as a means to distract him from more nefarious work.
His Mage Tower is The Crypt, in the old battlefields just north of Ordulin.
