Anchorites are elves that have devoted themselves to the pursuit of perfection in one aspect. Fundementally misunderstood but good sources of information nonetheless.

Holy Sites, Temples, & Rituals
To the Anchorites, there is nothing holy in or on the earth.
Anchorites tend to gravitate towards small villages as they can find some level of peace to ponder deep and useless questions. For any given village, there is a 1-in-20 chance that there is an Anchorite nearby.
Common Motifs
There is no Anchorite organization. Anchorites, however, are easily recognized by the fact that they're reclusive weirdos. While they're held in respect and awe by their communities but, in actuality, a life pondering a single question has made them autistic weirdos; like Fraser, if he spent 50 years in a box, speaking with a puppet he made out of his stained underwear.

There is no hierarchy or leadership. Anchorites are called by themselves.
