Steward Brynheld looks to expand Welb influence into the Ainkdt Weald but rumors of the haunted forest are prevalent so she hires Brother Reginulf to lead the expedition. They don't find hauntings but there are rumors of the Ku Tree that watches the forest. As long as you stay on the path, you should be safe. With intensitive, Steward Mienhard launches a surprise attack on Atiommpfi as the first stage of the Liberation of Ainkdt Weald. While the village is freed, the general invasion is stalled. With General Frok waging war in the Ainkdt Weald, it became apparent that, should Steward Meinhard lose the beachhead at Atiommpfi, the conquest of the east weald would be over and so he spent the next few years turning it into a Stronghold.
