Wild & savage eugenists that fight each other as much as others
The majority of the elves in this area are embracing the martial virtue of survial and so have (for the most part) relegated themselves to the furtherest reaches of the mountains. Those living closer to humans do so because it's a way to stay in touch with their ultimate enemies.
While Elf Wars are common, because the ilfin of the area focus less of weapon and armor training and more on the esoteric practices of survival, these wars take the form of ritualized competitions: who can climb the furtherest/fastest; who can survive the longest without food and water.
Disunited "Faction" Ilfin will always divide their Power evenly to oppose any Factions that are working against them. This might even include opposing itself (like in the case of an elf trying to unite all the camps).
