There is a also a peak called the Waiting Mountain. It is said that there was a giantess who loved a lord but their people warred.

Because of her pleading with her father, the two sides met to make peace where it was decided, to cement this alliance, the giantess would marry the lord.

But, on the day of the wedding, nobody showed: her father used the cease fire to prepare an attack on the lord and the lord used the cease fire to prepare an attack on the father.

Only she was there, waiting on the mountain peak, where she shed a single tear. It is said that she waits there to this day for her father and fiance to fulfill their promise.
