Steward Brynheld looks to expand Welb influence into the Ainkdt Weald but rumors of the haunted forest are prevalent so she hires Brother Reginulf to lead the expedition. They don't find hauntings but there are rumors of the Ku Tree that watches the forest. As long as you stay on the path, you should be safe. After several smaller battles, the Serna rebels were forced back and then destroyed at the Battle of Schny by Duke Prermu, leading to the occupation of the Ainkdt Weald.
