The Whisperworld

This world was created for the "Forging Worlds with Tale Foundry" - Challenge.

The Whisperworld is a earthlike planet inhabited by slightly magic creatures. Two sentient species inhabit the center continent and its idyllic woods and planes. Spindlesylphs are smaller than humans and quite brittle creatures living in harmony with nature and each other. Twinborn are a parasitic species born by and indistinguishable from spindlesylphs. Twinborn aren't aware that they are parasitic or anything else than Spindlesylphs. This circumstance is kept hidden by the local, religious organisation who believe the twinborn to be children of one of their godesses. From one day to the other no new twinborn are born, spindlesylph society is close to its destruction.
