Charlie the Unnoticed
Charlie the Unnoticed is a little tale told to afraid human children.
"Who else could ?", he thought.
"Me.", answered a voice.
Charlie looked around him afraid and shadow moved towards him.
"Don't be afraid little boy. I heard you crying because you were alone, so I come to comfort you by offering you companionship.", told him the creature.
Charlie stared at the creature and he smiled to her. She saw him and he was happy. Not matter what she was, as long as he can spoke to someone. So he told her his misadventures and explained to her why he was crying. The creature took pity on him and told him:
"Poor little boy, I can be your friend if you want to. But at one condition: every time you come to see me, you need to give me a shiny thing, like jewelry."
Charlie did not ask himself questions and accepted. Giving her a jewel against his friendship was profitable for him, he thought. Nobody will notice that something has disappeared and mostly that he stole it. So he began to stole a jewel everyday to go talk with his new friend and this continued days along. But one day, he was caught by the butcher when i tried to sneak inside his workshop. The villagers ask him why he stole all those jewels but he didn't answer, he smiled. He smiled because someone else noticed him, the entire village saw him. He laughed loudly and the villagers, believing that he ran mad, banned him from the village. Charlie turned back to his friend in the forest and he told her what happened.
"What a pathetic situation. The solution to be noticed appeared when you were not looking to be perceived. And now you have nothing left. Sleep well my child. Me, your only friend will give you an eternal and pleasant rest until you die."
During she spoke, she embraced the boy and wrapped him in a cocoon to keep him asleep until she became hungry.
"Be obedient or we will leave you to the monster of the dark woods."

He's gone speak to the others childs who were playing near by. He called them, again and again, but no one noticed his presence, until he shouts. The children turned to him but no one see him and they just returned to their games. Sad, he ran away and took shelter in his home. He cried for the rest of the day and when his mom called him to dinner, he wiped his tears and went down to the kitchen. His mother still called him as he arrived but when he was in front of her she called him once again. He told her: "Mummy I'm right over here !" but she did not seem to hear him. Devasted, he ran out of the house and headed for the forest, deep inside the woods. He ran a long time until he falls to the ground exhausted, crying. Even his mother didn't noticed him, her proper son.
