Demon

Also known as the Demon Gods of Gehenna.
In legends, demons are Norma's jesters. It's not exactly right. In reality, they are his soldiers but they fight each other for Norma's pleasure. They are linked by a large hierarchy and associated with defects. The principals demons are:

The supreme leader of the infernal empire:

Satan: The one who reigns over the underworld is undoubtedly Satan (or Lucifer because the two characters are a single entity even if he is an angel now). He has with him, generals, princes, dukes including Mephistopheles. Most princes want to take the throne, so Satan's place. The most virulent in this game is undoubtedly Belzebuth.   Each prince reigns over a part of the infernal kingdom and has his demonic army at his command. When Satan becomes Lucifer again, he takes up his role as a great vigilante of the underworld.

The Kings of Hell

In Hell's hierarchy, there are kings and Satan. Although he is more often called King but considered as the supreme leader, he is halfway between the emperor and the king, however there are undisputed kings, who are :
  • Amoymon or Amaimon: king of hell.
  • Baël: king of hell. He has his states in the eastern part of the underworld. He commands 70 legions. Is sometimes confused with Baal.
  • Balan: great terrible king of the underworld. Is of the order of domination and command 40 legions.
  • Byleth: king of the infernal empire of the order of powers. Order 80 legions.
  • Cali or Kali: queen of demons and sultan of Indian hell.
  • Erlil-Khan: King or sometimes prince of the underworld.
  • Goap: kings of the demons of the south.
  • Gorson: king of the western part of the underworld.
  • Magoa: king of the eastern part of the underworld.
  • Paymon or Paimon: one of the kings of hell. Command 200 legions of the Order of Angels and the Order of Powers.
  • Zapan: one of the kings of hell.
  • The princes of Hell

The 7 princes of the underworld are Mammon, Azazel, Belzebuth, Asmodeus, Belphegor, Dispater and Mephistopheles. Other demons or beliefs think that there are 9 princes, others still speak of 7 demons for the 7 deadly sins. The origins of some demons remain unclear, some take several names, others are raised to higher ranks, others no longer appear. For my part, I was content to collect the most popular data and those that I thought were the most accurate and plausible.
  • Mammon: Prince of Hell and demon of greed. This demon only obeys Satan.
  • Azazel: Prince of the infernal empire, guardian of the goats, first sign-bearer of the infernal armies. Like Lucifer he became an Angel but nom he is defined as a Fallen Angel.
  • Belzébuth: Prince of Hell, founder of the Order of the Flies. He is the first in power and in crimes after Satan. He wants his place and keeps on letting him know. Demon of the sin of greed.
  • Asmodeus: Prince of the infernal empire, demon of lust, superintendent of gambling houses. He commands 72 legions. Lieutenant of Amoymon.
  • Belphégor: Prince of Hell, demon of laziness, discoveries and inventions.
  • Belial: Prince of hell, demon of anger. Order 80 legions.
  • Mephistopheles: Prince of the underworld, is Satan's right-hand man.
  • The demons of deadly sins

We all know all seven hellish sins: anger, lust, greed, envy, envy, laziness, greed and pride. Every sin has its own demon that pushes us to the extreme. Pride: excessive self-esteem. The demon of pride can only be Satan, the one who revolted against God because he believed himself to be the equal of his creator.
  • Avarice: accumulation of wealth to satisfy oneself and for one's own pleasure. The greedy man is constantly accumulating wealth and obsessed with the idea of separating himself from his possessions. His demon is Mammon, the one who causes crimes to be committed for the sake of money.
  • The envy: certainly the greatest cause of moral misfortune. Desire is lust mixed with spite, hatred or sadness at the sight of the happiness of others or what they possess. His demon is Leviathan.
  • The gluttony: the fact of not resisting any pleasure of the belly and to stuff oneself in excess. His demon is Belzebut.
  • Anger: a violent emotional state of anger resulting in strong discontent and brutal reactions. His demon is Belial.
  • Lust: sexual pleasure sought above all for one's own pleasure. Sexuality is uncontrolled, sometimes unchecked and sometimes totally abject. His demon is Asmodeus.
  • Laziness: refers to acedy. In our modern world, laziness refers to a profound repugnance of work and effort. His demon is Belpegor.
  • There is an 8th capital sin which is the Glorious Sheath. This sin was confused with pride. The vain glory is an obsessive desire to obtain consideration at all costs.
