A history of genetics

First, both can be differentiated on their plane of existence. The Werebeasts are a race in their own right unlike Half-humans who are descended from genetic crossings between humans and animals. Half Humans are Humans, of whom at least 50% of the DNA is animal. Although Werebeats are basically humans with animal physical abilities, they are different in their affinity with magic.

The magic

Half-humans have the same affinity with magic as Humans. But the Werebeasts do not consider magic as an essence but more as a kind of body fluid, yet it remains a basis of their physiology.
