Background

The caravan which is now owned by Erik of the Lowlands and Mara of the Lowlands is a six-wheeled wooden home which is able to be drawn by two to four horses (depending on the required speed and the weight of the contents).
It is made from treated pine wood from the Endless Forest. The curved roof is designed to deal with the regular rains and the windows have wooden shutters which better insulate the interior in the winter moons. There is a small platform at the back of the caravan which has steps leading up to it and acts as something akin to a porch. There is an entrance at both ends, one which is for regular access (via the steps) and one which allows access to the driver's bench.

The caravan is built to a traditional style popular with Nomads, and one or two of these types of caravan can be found in clans travelling around the Wilds.
As Nomads are roaming people, generally not staying in one place for longer than a few moons, the caravan is designed to make this kind of living as easy as possible.
