Volg

Volganths, commonly called Volgs, are generally thought of as legends by most people. They are stories to frighten children with, and few people believe they actually exist. According to the stories, the Volgs were banished over two thousand years ago to a large island in the centre of the Great Ocean. According to the stories, they are servants of evil, worshippers of Night, the Lord of Darkness.   Volgs have the torso, arms, and legs of a human, but the head of a horned goat and large, bat-like wings. Some stories also tell of Volg shapeshifters, who infiltrate human society.
