Interfusion, Magic, and Lore

What is interfusion?

While so much was lost to the  The Myst there is still much to be gained. Within every person there is a soul and, as the spirits do, people can use their souls to interfuse with the world around them. Tendrils of spiritual energy connect your soul to the spirit of the object of interest when a person interfuses with it. The soul and the spirit can interact in this way, yielding seemingly limitless results. It is said that those who learn to interfuse with things over long periods of time can build truly legendary relationships with the spirits of the world.

Lore

It would be putting it lightly to say libraries are uncommon in the current era... While there are still books and scrolls to be found in the ancient ruins scattered across  The Wunderlunds, much knowledge has had to be relearned or rediscovered. Fortunately, interfusion allows people to learn things they would scarcely have access to otherwise. Interfusing with the souls or spirits of fauna and flora of the world can allow people to discern their secrets.

Magic

When someone interfuses with something, magic may be born. Interfusing with fire may result in a wild conflagration. Interfusing with a lightning bug may result in dancing lights. Interfusing with the mind of another may allow you to see their thoughts and even manipulate them. When simple small objects can be used to interfuse with for magical purposes, they are offered carried around in small spell component pouches by casters.
