Grover's Plains

Once vast and open savanna, this place was a world you could stroll forever, completely at peace and without effort. Watering holes and small patches of brush and trees used to provide rest and nourishment, while the ground remained soft and unhindered by obstacles. Grover, when he was here, was usually found reclining in a hut and giving orders to his few followers.

Since the Sundering, this plane has been laid to waste. The sky now is always a dark storm, and when it parts enough for the heavens can be seen it is just an eternal eclipse. The former followers of Groven have now all abandoned him and his realm, finding sanctuary in another deities realm. There are dark beings of hate and resentment springing up in the eternal twilight. These monstrous beasts tear apart any found wandering its desolation. The ground is hard and covered in dried and dead grass stalks. The trees are dead and broken, and all the watering holes are all dried up and no relief can be found anywhere.

Along with these new monsters and lack of natural assistance, Fiel has banned all from this realm. As punishment, anyone found here will be severed from the creation deities. Fiel has even put a curse on the soil itself that attacks the body or soul that steps upon it. The hut that Grover used to call home is now a crater. This savanna is now a place that a stroll is impossible.

The portal to this realm is now been bricked over by a hand crafted wall and their is a battalion of planars guarding it.  All references to it and its former master have been striken from all entries in Fiel's control.  The souls of those climbing the mount to reach something or somewhere usually hurry by the structure and avert their gaze.  No one dares mention it in front of Fiel.  Athed Vidarr, on the other hand, sometimes stands before the wall and drops one tear for his fallen son.  The tear has not only become legend, but is also said to hold magic abilities.
