Extended lore

Cernunnos, the Horned one is the God of Fertility, Dreams and Dusk. He is the patron god of the dreaming, and protects people against horrilble entities that invade their vunerable minds as they sleep. Cernunnos is one of the Great Beasts, and the eldest son of Isha. The God of Fertility blesses people with his gifts to allow life to flourish. He has an eternal rivalry with his sister Denthar, the goddess of Nightmares. The both of them battle across the Ethereal Realm while the dreams of the sleeping are vunerable for outsiders to invade them. Cernunnos protects the dreams in the Ethereal realm against his sister, who invades the dreams of mortals with visions of fear and death. He watches the dreams of mortals with great interest, as he is a lover of stories and fables.   The Aspect of Cernunnos is dreams and dusk, when the day bleeds into night and people's minds are most vunerable to intrusions. His folowers believe in community, protection and mercy. As a fertility god, he is widely worshiped by the Wildefolk, and is one of the most influential deities among the Great Spirits. Wyldefolk tribles in service to Cernunnos offer shelter to strangers as tribute to their god, and ask for nothing more than a story in return. They believe the stories people tell show what they truley believe and want. Worshipers of Cernunnos know that they stand safely on the border between darkness and light, since their god watches over them and protects them against harm.
