Midsummer’s Night Fashions: 

• A modest Fae clothing shop, decorated with beautifully carved wooden weapons, accessories, and armor.
• Owner: Hileia: Female Summer Fae. Hileia is rugged in appearance, with thin copper hair and soft hazel eyes. She wears fine sewn clothing and sparkling jewelry.

• Carved Wooden Shield (2gp, +1 basic wooden shield, mostly for decoration. Covered in beautiful carvings of Sirens swimming in the ocean)
• Clay, shell-shaped jewelry (bracelet, rings, earrings not made of real shells, but shaped out of clay--1cp)

Shell Shack: 

• Created from the abandoned shell of a giant hermit crab, this humble food vendor sells a variety of sweets and seafood.

Owners:

• Menaro: Nonbinary, they/he, Summer Fae. Menaro is tall, with blonde hair in locs, bushy brows, and brown eyes. They have tattoos of ocean waves across their left arm and pectoral. They wear a necklace and earrings made from shark teeth. He also loves surfing and beach combing! Sometimes things from other planes slip through tears in the multiverse and end up on the beach here from the ocean.
• Time: Male Winter/Summer Fae (an unusual sight to see!). Time has curly blue-black hair and blue eyes. His skin is tanned from the sun, and wears a transparent blue shawl with a wide-brimmed hat. It’s Time’s snow and ice magic from his Winter Fae mother that allows him to create ice and keep it frozen.

Mascot:

• Peaches: Time has a blue-and-yellow macaw named Peaches who likes to sit on his shoulder or perch on the shop’s wooden sign. He’s Time’s pet and the shop’s unofficial mascot.

Menu:

• Grilled Octopus (2cp): Thinly sliced octopus that has been grilled over charcoal and seasoned with olive oil, a squeeze of lemon, and oregano. Benefit: Advantage on grapple checks for the next hour.
• Tropical Fruit Smoothie (1cp): mango, pineapple, banana, papaya, and coconut milk mixed together to create a cold and sweet concoction! Benefit: Advantage on Perception checks until your next short rest.
• Mydia/Midia and Bread (4cp): Mussels steamed in red wine alongside herbs, garlic, carrots, onions, and other vegetables--then topped with a red Mediterranean red sauce that the bread is used to sop up. Benefit: +2 to strength checks for the next hour.
• Shaved Ice (1cp): Comes in a variety of fruit flavors, such as banana, mango, watermelon, and lemonade. Benefit: Removes 1 point of Exhaustion.

Fair Folk Temple Sanctuary

• It emits quiet harpsichord music from a floating island above the ocean. A magical waterfall pours from the temple’s sides into the ocean below.
• The Sanctuary has multiple temples and living quarters on its floating island. It is also close to the portal that connects Summer and Autumn--which is actually a whirlpool within the ocean itself.
• The priestesses here, just as in Dorhond, are concerned about the rising number of tropical storms in Aspenbay. Although not unfamiliar to them, they have risen in size, damage, and consistency over the past eight months. The village is still working on repairs from the last storm over a month ago.

Priestesses:

• Hyla: Female Summer Fae. Hyla has black hair half-put up into buns with red carnations in them, and warm amber eyes. She wears golden bracelets and has a necklace in the design of a sun that glows against her brown skin. Hyla is the head priestess of the sanctuary, with a normally jovial and outgoing personality. The recent trouble with storms and silence from Cezara has been deeply worrying her, however.
• Achras: Female, mixed Summer Fae/Siren. Achras has thick, seafoam green hair and bright golden eyes against blue skin surrounded by freckles. She wears shell earrings on her fin-like ears and carries a wooden bow on her back.

Autumn Court Portal:

• The portal to Autumn isn’t far from the Fair Folk Sanctuary. It is an eternal whirlpool in the ocean that sucks its victims into the Autumn plane when the gate is left unsealed. The Queen of Summer and the Sanctuary priestesses are able to remove and reseal the portal at will.

Demographics

Approximately 1000; mostly Fae (mix, but largely summer. And Dryads).

Government

There is no central government in Aspenbay. They follow the Queen of Summer’s orders, but she doesn’t often impose upon them outside of anything that would involve the court of law.

Geography

Aspenbay is a village on the coast of the Gulf of Summer. The jungle known as Cezara’s Garden reaches parts of its shores, adding to the area’s vast ecosystem of feywild flora, fauna, and monsters. The jungle is a lush, humid zone that becomes cooler the closer it grows to the ocean due to the wind blowing from its waves.
  The sandy beach radiates heat from the summer sun, with seagulls swooping down to munch on bugs and wandering hermit crabs, but the ocean’s waters have a refreshing coolness to them.
A Siren city named Adamri exists here beneath the gulf. They catch and trade fish, jewelry, seaweed, and sea salt with the Fae on land. Mixed Siren/Summer Fae are a normal sight in Aspenbay, as the two groups have a strong, mutual respect for one another.
