Heru’s Pottery
- Owner: Heru, Male Fae/Dwarf. Heru is much shorter than other Fae due to being half Dwarf, with a thick red beard and brown eyes. Heru was once an adventurer, but retired after the last war 23 years ago. Items for Sale:
- Basic pottery: pots, bowls, plates, and such. However, they are all beautifully crafted from clay and painted with a sparkling glaze in a variety of patterns. (ranges from 5cp to 5gp depending on the complexity of the piece.)
Pasama’s Staffs & Staves:
- Owner: Pasama, female autumn fae with dark auburn hair in a colorful cloth wrapping. Her golden earrings shine in the sunlight. She carves all of her items and imbues them with magic herself. Items for Sale:
- Staff of Striking (100gp): Staff, very rare (requires attunement). This staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff that grants a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. The staff has 10 charges. When you hit with a melee attack using it, you can expend up to 3 of its charges. For each charge you expend, the target takes an extra 1d6 force damage. The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20.
- Staff of the Python (10gp): Staff, uncommon (requires attunement by a cleric, druid, or warlock). You can use an action to speak this staff’s command word and throw the staff on the ground within 10 feet of you. The staff becomes a giant constrictor snake under your control and acts on its own initiative count. By using a bonus action to speak the command word again, you return the staff to its normal form in a space formerly occupied by the snake. On your turn, you can mentally command the snake if it is within 60 feet of you and you aren’t incapacitated. You decide what action the snake takes and where it moves during its next turn, or you can issue it a general command, such as to attack your enemies or guard a location. If the snake is reduced to 0 hit points, it dies and reverts to its staff form. The staff then shatters and is destroyed. If the snake reverts to staff form before losing all its hit points, it regains all of them.
- Staff of Withering (50gp): Staff, rare (requires attunement by a cleric, druid, or warlock). This staff has 3 charges and regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. The staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff. On a hit, it deals damage as a normal quarterstaff, and you can expend 1 charge to deal an extra 2d10 necrotic damage to the target. In addition, the target must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or have disadvantage for 1 hour on any ability check or saving throw that uses Strength or Constitution.
Government
VILLAGE HEAD:
Mera, Autumn Fae, she/her, 357 years old.
Industry & Trade
It has a dock and harbor for trade shipping routes.
EXPORTS:
citrus, potatoes, onions, beer, strawberries, pomegranates, sweet potatoes, beans, beets, guavas, peppers, mangoes, garlic, grapes, peaches, and watermelons.
Natural Resources
This village has many more trees than what you saw flying over the Savanna, but most are well-kept and grown in orchards for food production. Some of the trees you notice growing are completely foreign to most of you, such as guava and pomegranates.
Like most Fae, plenty of the villagers keep gardens around their homes. Pepper plants, beans, and sweet potato plants grow outside of the homes made from mud brick, ancient trees, or hollowed out gourds. Due to the natural magic of the Autumn Court’s soil, plants tend to grow massive in size. It is more common to see the tops of giant beets sticking out of the ground than not.
