Kagi (Kaa-gh-ee)
- The city of Kagi is the recently booming capital of Nishi Province in Kagawa.
Archpool Farthing
The Guildhall:
- An ornate building of stone walls, decorated with brightly dyed pennons.
- It contains a large meeting hall and several smaller rooms, and is shared amongst several local merchant guilds.
The Enchanted Theatre:
- A two-storey timber and brick theatre run by Spellbinders.
- Tsuma Megu: Female Human Illusionist, Neutral. Megu has cropped golden hair and narrow green eyes. She wears sturdy clothing and wields a quarterstaff.
- Tako: Male Human Scholar, Neutral. Tako has cropped black hair and hazel eyes, and a braided beard. He wears expensive clothing and a silver holy symbol. Tako is absent-minded, and always searching for a missing item.
Dock/Port Ward
- The Port of Kagi is the largest port of Kagawa Island. You see even more foreigners from the Republic (and, perhaps, even from the far eastern continent) here than in the streets of Kagi.
- Ships full of cargo from the Republic fill the docks as workers carry out boxes, barrels, and jars full of goods.
- Some ships carry trade goods to the mainland from Kagawa, leading to the population boost Kagi has experienced in recent years.
- At the western end of the port are the ships traveling to and from the mainland, carrying tourists and other sorts across the sea.
The White Purse:
- An elegant elven tavern.
- The owner (Syvis) is a foreigner from the mainland Republic. Her ancestors were Autumn Fae. She has curly red hair and brown eyes with a face covered in freckles.
The Broken Hammer:
- A fanciful adventurer's inn, kept by a human named Sho.
The Explorers Guild House:
- An ornate half-timbered building, decorated with weapons and armor.
- Yoshin Mako: Female Human Fighter, Good. Mako has straight black hair and dark brown eyes. Mako is confident and absent-minded.
- Funi Risue: Female Dwarf Ranger, Good. Risue has a square face, with messy golden hair and green eyes. She wears chain mail and wields a long sword and javelins.
Grove District
The Great Temple of Light, Eastern Area:
- The temple before you is the Eastern section of The Great Temple of Light.
- There exists another section elsewhere, but this one contains the octagonal Room of Dreams, as well as living quarters for monks, libraries, and even lecture halls.
- The Room of Dreams is built on the same ground that a private palace of Prince Masanori existed. It is believed his spirit rests peacefully thanks to the temple’s existence.
The Guardhouse:
- A station of the town guard. It adjoins a small gaol used to detain thieves and scofflaws.
Market
- Okoshi: Female Human Craftsman, Good. Okoshi is exceptionally beautiful, with brown hair and soft brown eyes. She wears well-made clothing and carries an oak staff.
Kei’s Pottery:
- A market stall selling pottery made locally in Kagi. The pottery is made of a blue-gray clay, and the jars being sold are surprisingly large in size.
- The pots and jars were originally made to be used for rituals and at temples, but as the Religion of Light has spread from the Republic, people have become less interested in them. More and more foreigners have arrived in Kagawa interested in trade and other goods, so they’ve started selling them for novelty and everyday use.
- Kei touts these jars as “one of a kind” that can only be found here in Kagawa, despite their age.

Medachimasen yaoya
- “Inconspicuous Vegetable Shop”

- A young man with light blue hair sits in a wheelchair is selling sweet potatoes, rice, taro, beans, and even bananas. Next to him stands some sort of assistant or servant with white hair in a sharp cut down to his shoulders, looking slightly nervous as people pass them on the busy street.
- This is where Illuamor and the others found Syn in disguise.
Government
Kagi is governed by several wealthy aristocrats, led by a male human named Satoshi Takamoto.

There are plenty of people milling about the streets, looking for goods to buy, vendors to peruse, and places to explore.
