Arcanist's Village

 

Atras' Masonry: 

  • The workshop of a female elf stonemason named Atras, who is rumored to be quarrying stone from cursed ruins.

The Beggar's Ring: 

  • A ring of rough-hewn stone monoliths stands beside the street. 
  • Anyone who stands within the ring and tosses aside a gold coin can teleport to any street location within Thal Belanorg.

Armorer's District

 

The Midnight Theatre:

  • A large stone-walled theatre, said to be built upon the ground where a noble was betrayed and murdered.
  • They are currently performing a Midsummer’s Night Dream.
 

Charger's Ward

The Broken Wand: 

  • Owned by a widowed man and his male friend, both of whom are Fae. One of the owners has no hidden secrets or unusual quirks, but the other dabbles in Necromancy. 
  • Before owning the tavern, one of the owners worked there under the previous owner, while the other fought as a gladiator in a famous arena in the Elysian Empire.
  • The Bartender: Elwin Fenpeiros, 469 y/o androgynous half-Summer/half-Spring Fae. They are often terribly abrasive in disposition, but are soft on the inside. Their skin is coppery, and they have pink hair, kept in a long and loose style. Physically, they are quite tone. Over 350 years ago, they fought as a gladiator in a famous arena in the Elysian Empire before retiring to their homeland here in the Summer Fae Court.
  • The Clientele: Loud. Several patrons play some kind of guessing game. A few are engaged in a heated debate, and some others are discussing religious or political matters. 
  • Cybe (other patron): Female Human Alchemist, Neutral. Cybe has blonde hair and dark blue eyes, and a sharp nose. She wears modest garments and a sling of vials and potions. Cybe has an animal companion, a sable ferret named Desines.
  • The Accommodations: The rooms for rent are spacious and nicely decorated. There are currently two rooms available for rent. The cost for a night's stay is 7 sp, 2 cp..

Alos' Forge: 

  • The workshop of a male Fae blacksmith named Alos, who is rumored to lead a cult.

Ices' Carvings: 

  • A cluttered woodcarver's workshop, said to be protected by fey creatures (like nature sprites).

Citadel Ward

Pantosius' Forge: 

  • A neglected blacksmith's workshop, built around a shrine.

The Temple of Amarus, God of Light: 

  • A grand colonnaded building, decorated with bright lamps and pools of clear water.

The Citadel:

  • A strong building of polished black stone walls without doors or windows.
  • It is said to be a fortress of the queen's army, but no-one has ever been seen to enter or leave it.

Dragon's Ward

The Midnight House: 

  • A large timber and brick theatre, home of a troupe of illusionist-spellbinders.

The Broken Fang: 

  • An elegant adventurer's inn, decorated with stained glass windows.
  • Patron 1 : Pedesim, Male Elf Merchant, Good. Pedesim is common in appearance, with messy red hair and light amber eyes. He wears well-made clothing and carries a long knife. Pedesim is cheerful and romantic.
  • Patron 2: Desionios, Male Fae Fighter, Neutral. Desionios is fair in appearance, with golden hair and sharp brown eyes. He wears banded mail and wields a mace and shield. Desionios was magically imprisoned for a hundred years.

Jetgrove Ward

  • A single storey half-timbered building, the home and personal library of a female Fae sage named Laodeia. She specializes in the study of architecture and engineering.

Amias' Armor and Shields: 

  • A cluttered armorer's workshop, built within the walls of an iron-banded stone tower.
 

Kingsarch Village

 
  • A broken obelisk of hewn crystal, said to entomb the bones of a local warrior.

Lower Brightring Ward

 

Abdadras' Masonry: 

  • The workshop of a male Fae stonemason named Abdadras, who seems to know every dungeon within twenty leagues of town.

Thiasa's Pewter: 

  • A cluttered pewtersmith's workshop, sheltered beneath the wings of a pewter dragon.
 

Orchard Village

 
  • A broken menhir of hewn stone, placed to honor Lady Lyra, a deceased cleric of the God of Nature who is hailed as a saint by the people of the Summer Court.

Upper Highlamp Ward

 

Phece's Pottery: 

  • The workshop of a female Fae potter named Phece, who knows the secret of an alchemical clay which is as clear as diamond.

Government

The Iron Council

 
  • Thal Belanorg is governed by a council of elders, known as the Iron Council. It is made up of elected Fae and a ““Queen”” (simply the title from ancient tradition) who is elected as the tie-breaker.
  • The council's government building is a massive greenhouse with marble Corinthian columns and statues built around it. Scattered around the grounds are reflecting pools, beautifully tended gardens, and fountains with Fae sitting on their edges while splashing in the water. 
  • Luran was the one who tended the garden before he left. The plants literally lean toward him and try to wrap around his body whenever he walks by. Flowers bloom and butterflies will swarm his clothes.
