Cold/Heat

When in extreme cold and extreme heat, not everyone can survive as wel as others.

When do you have to roll

For Cold: 0°C – CON
For Heat: 25°C + CON

Example:
A player has 12 CON.
He has to roll when the temperature is below -12°C or above 38°C.

What do you roll

First you roll a CON saving throw with a DC of the temperature above or below the threshold.

Example:
A player has 12 CON.
There is a temperature of -23°C.
He has to roll a DC 11 CON saving throw.

How much damage do you get

You get the amount of damage equal to the amount with which you fail the saving throw.

Example:
A player has 12 CON.
There is a temperature of -23°C.
He has to roll a DC 11 CON saving throw.
He rolls an 8 on his saving throw.
He gets 3 cold damage.
