Summer Wars

60 years after the treaty of Erenheim, there was an invasion of rebels from the wild lands. For three years, after the thawing of the mountain passes, rebel forces would invade into Theldrahal and Veil to loot and pillage. These battles were called the Summer Wars. Because of the disarmament treaty, the rebels were able to run over most any opposition. On the third summer, the rebels invaded again, and looted further south than they had ever before. But it was a trap. The united forces of all three nations flanked the invading army, cutting them off from a retreat back to the wild lands. In a desperate attempt to flee, the rebel forces tried to retreat across the narrow land bridge named Long’s pass. on the other side they found the waiting Dwarven army. Cut off and surrounded, the Rebel army was destroyed. This great victory was celebrated by all three nations, and worked to bring them closer together.
