The Tale of the Killer Cloud

In the lands of Kinyra they have story about a cloud raining blood upon a village and by daybreak no one was left alive. It is a tale told to children to keep them from sneaking out at night and to listen to their parents. Although no one can really see if this towel is based on fact or fiction it does however give parents a nice way of ensuring their children will not run around at night and possibly get kidnapped. It does strike fear in most elders when you do mention this tale of the Killer Cloud. Elves in general live very long lives. These elves live even longer than your normal elves so rumor is is that this cloud is a possibility at least.

Summary

Many moons ago there was a town just like this one actually it was peaceful the only problem was that the youth in this town would leave their homes at night and get into much mischief. This saddens the towns people as all they wanted we're good kids to help grow the town and make the world a better place with this couldn't be if they did not listen to the elders or parents. One night a mother named Azzi, Had to put her son down to sleep and went on cleaning the house preparing for the day to come. She went to empty out her trash when she looked up and saw a rust color cloud sitting above the town. As she looked closer in amazement she realized that there were children outside running around doing all sorts of terrible things. This was during a time where many foreigners would come into our lands and take our children and sell them as slaves or other terrible situations. It's always important for you to never leave when the night comes. So, Azzi did what one is suppose to do and yet to call the Elders to send the children home. When she came back inside She went to check on her own child only to find that they were not in bed and had to escaped outside. She ran outside to check For them. That is when the blood started to fall from the sky and mysterious creature started to emerge. These creatures had red eyes and sharp fangs. It's only took but a second for them to fill the town anyone caught outside was never seen again so please my child stay inside at night have a good night.

Historical Basis

Early in history the human race is found in the elves to be very interesting and captivating so much so is the coveted them like gold. They even use them as a bartering system which is very shameful in a dark history in their past. Some say this tale represents them fearing for their lives from foreigners who would come in to sell them off to humans or other races seeking free labor. Although none of this Happens now it is still a very sore subject. One that the participants are trying to make up for it now still all these many years later. Others say this cloud represents vampires although there is been no proof of vampires in the world there are the conspiracy theorist who swear by this ideology.

There are a couple books out there that depict this story. They are very similar in there telling about a unruly town children disappearing in the night after a a rust colored cloud is seen floating above. Although writing down this tale is forbidden from being written down in Kinyra.
