The land of Krynn has a different monetary system from other D&D words.
The following coinage conversion chart is a custom merging of the Dragonlance information with the official 5e information. Also included is a real world reference for the various coins.
Prices listed in the PHB will be in Copper, Silver, and Gold. When using those resources, Copper and Silver values map to this chart. For Gold in the PHB, simple substitute the equivalent number of Steel pieces.
