Raenan, Goddess of the Hunt
Goddess of the Hunt, Raenan also encompasses tamed animals and foraging. She is most revered by hunters and rangers, those who hunt for sustenance or for game. Symbolizing the wits to track and hunt prey, and the skills to bring down all manner of beasts, including humanoids, Raenan typically takes the form of an elven woman covered in natural garb and carrying a bow. Some say they have seen her while out hunting, while others just believe that to be a trick of the eyes or simply another hunter. Raenan is respected as a master hunter, and slightly feared because of it. Some say that Raenan is the cause of ‘hunting accidents’, and that she punishes those who hunt out of hubris and greed.
