General Physical Condition
High Lord Sebariel is old in human standards, but still on the younger side of middle age for a gnome. Sebariel is considered healthy for a gnome of his age, however he presents himself as a little arrogant and weak as part of his facade.

Often slouches when he meets with High lords, foreign merchants, and dignitaries.
Apparel & Accessories
Sebariel enjoys wearing tokens of wealth, the circlet he wears as a symbol of being high lord is one of the few made from platinum instead of the common silver, or gold. Often Sebariel will adorn his fingers with multiple rings, and while his clothes are quite fine, they are also on the modest side. This is again part of his facade, he wears clothes which are a step or two behind Alethkar fashion, and often they aren't opulent or fine. This feeds into the facade that Sebariel isn't a bright man

Personal history
Sebariel is known as a less than intelligent gnome who cares for money. However, anyone close to the Kholin's knows they're an honest genuine person who believes in justice and equality while turning a profit. A true practitioner of Keynesian economics, Sebariel has been covertly building their house to become a stronger trading empire with the use of diplomacy and treaty instead of war and conquering. Sebariel is the oldest of the High Lord's, and was already a High Lord when all except one of the other current High Lords were born. He took the throne in 1013 at the young age of 20, as the House was on the brink of financial ruin, and their lands in turmoil. Their father had run the house into the ground with gambling and poor speculative investing in the Malveillante Desert. In a wise move on Sebariel's part, they sold off part of their territory of the Shrewsning Forest in the west to house's Kholin and Hatham, both of which were hungry for more territory. Using the massive amount of spheres they made from the sale, they invested it back into his lands, promoting trade and travel. They dispersed money to the people, and encouraged them all to purchase goods and services from local shops and merchants. After 60 years of scraping, saving, and struggling, their house and territory stabilized and began to grow. Since then, Sebariel has played the part of an arrogant greedy noble, while heavily investing back into their lands and local merchants for the last 100 years. This facade has become what they are known for, the greedy, arrogant (and slightly dim) noble, which is exactly what they wants, so they can deftly take advantage of all deals made with them by flipping it to their benefit.
While Sebariel tries to keep a generally amicable relationship with all high lords, however, there is a very publicly known animosity between him and High Lord Bethab ever since the latter invaded his territory in 1160 EOS. During this invasion, the mercenaries hired by Bethab murdered an entire village, which became known as the Massacre of Wes'hent. The mercenaries avoided a small defending force attempting to stop the mercenaries, choosing instead to kill civilians before continue with the assault. The Mercenary army (lead by some of Bethab's nobles) eventually turned back and returned to Bethab territory. While the army never massacred another village, they continued striking Sebariel territory for the next 6 months. During those 6 months, infighting and arguing between the High Lords broke out, and they started taking sides. In order to prevent an all out civil war, High Lord Kholin and Sebariel marched armies towards the border, killing most of the mercenary attacking force on their way. Dalinar then forced Bethab to sign a peace treaty with Sebariel. This prevented the potential civil war from breaking out, as the sides quickly disappeared when the treaty was signed. Since the Massacre, Sebariel ordered a number of defensive forts along the border between him and Bethab, in order to prevent an attack from ever happening again.
It is rumored that Sebariel has been planning to purchase their old territory back from House Kholin and Hatham, however none of the three High Lords have commented on the idea.

Sebariel identifies as non-binary, and uses they/them pronouns. While assigned male at birth, Sebariel first expressed their gender identity when they were 20 years old.
