Cult of Aeyo
The Cult of Aeyo formed when a group of people, believeing that transforming into an aeyo was a great honor, came together. They began to kill numerous children believing that this was the will of the man they had declared their saint: he himself approved of these actions. They believed they were setting the children free of earthly suffering and thus granting them a better, eternal life among the gods.
The cult still has followers, but they live hidden from looks, self-sufficient and believing each stranger is a threat. If children go missing, they are considered the primary suspects: based on the disappearances, though, it is entirely possible the cult has a base in the vicinity of the Southern mountain range.
