Jakos Khelhon Malnoi

The current king of Ager, who rose to power at the age of 23 after his father passed away in a hunting accident in 14:32 Agerian calendar.
He is especially known for his love of earthly delights, which is why he arranges the most impressive celebrations for reasons great and small alike. During his time as a king, the taxes have risen considerably so he can keep funding his feasts, and this has caused some discontent among the common folk. He is also more likely than many of his predecessors to declare a death sentence for any crime, as he sees no benefit in keeping prisoners alive, draining resources that he believes can be better used.
The discontent eventually led into a civil war that started in the spring of 15:20, where rebels quickly took over significant areas. Some nobility also sided with the rebels, including the lady of the Eastern Cape. This unrest is still ongoing.
Jakos has a wife and three children.
