(a.k.a. Nolhak)
"When Guard rests and Knight is vigilant, there is order in our world. Nolhak sees the fist rised in fury and the blade whetted by envy, the arrow sped by fury and the poison made in fear. Blades dull and poisons lose their potency, and Nolhak will gently guide us to reconciliation and understanding.
"When Guard awakens again and Knight withdraws to his castle, is there too much anger in our world for us to lessen with our own deeds. Only when we hear Nolhak's voice whispering his approval, do we know we are on the right path."
Knight is one of the Second gods, and the god of mercy, peace, and war. His clerical domains are Order, War, and Tempest, and his symbol is a shield above a wreath.
Depictions
Nolhak is often depicted as a man donning a heavy armor, with an enormous hound at his side. He often rides a great steed, holding a spear. His imagery is common is places of justice, as Knight is also seen as the keeper of peace, and diplomatically charged situations are often put on the shoulders of his followers - or at least one is expected to be present during negotiations.
Followers
He is associated with the power to strike down his foes, but also with mercy to not kill those who would only follow orders and are willing to surrender. His followers, however, can sometimes follow orders without questioning them.
