"When the silence of the nature got too oppressive to bear, Smith molded from clay the first birds. Too heavy to fly, but their powerful voices echoed in the world like the song of the mountains. Next ones she made of bark: their song and feathers were frail, and wind made them crumble before too long. It was the singers made of wind that became the ones that we know so well today.
"And when the scenery was too still, arrived the beasts of the forests.
"When the dangers threatening the world arrived, she descened among us to forge the first arms made of metal, and taught us the gift of defending ourselves.
"Smith created for us a living world and thanks to her gift can we face the horrors of tomorrow without fear."
Smith is the younger sister of
Builder, mother of Kal'han, and one of the four First gods. She's the god of creating and forge, and her clerical domains are Forge, Protection, and War.
Depictions
Smith is most often depicted as a strong, curly-haired woman who carries a huge hammer and wears either a leather apron or simple clothes with rolled-up sleeves, or in light armour. She is often hard at work, or handing out one of her creations to the Peoples so that they might better defend themselves or help their own.
Followers
Her followers are often seen as people who are extremely dedicated to what they do, and many think of them as unflexible and loyal to themselves -- even to the point of stubborness.
Holy Locations
In the northern parts of
Ager is a small fishing village called Smith's village. There is a large, black rock resembling an anvil, and many believe that Smith used it to forge the first weapons she gave to the Peoples. The side of the rock is smooth from the countless pilgrims touching it.
