The Hemispheres

The two hemispheres of the Guardian Dragon have been named after two legendary Firstborn leaders; Southern is called Árei, or Lands of Árei; the Northern is called Agar, or Lands of Agar.
Agar has more land, and has the largest continent on the realm. It also has a country by the same name, though that is more likely than not due to a misunderstanding: when a group of travelers arrived to the Eastern continent and asked where they were, they were replied, "Agar," referring to the hemisphere. The travelers likely assumed that they meant that was the name of they country, and it has been so ever since, though it has since slightly changed its spelling in most languages, becoming Ager.
Árei's lands are considered older, as most of The Firstborn originate from there. It has three notable landmasses; mostly Elven Galinstrann in the West; the predominantly human-inhabited Toshan; and the land of magic and home to many races, Khu'ata in the East.
