First Maqbara Campaign Combat 1-2

Combat 1-2 took place in Old Al's Inn's Basement over the course of 4 rounds between the Party of the First Maqbara Campaign and 3 Yakdash. The combat resulted in notable injuries for most party members, the downing of Eshemi and the death of the 3 Yakdash.
When traversing Old Al's Inn's Basement, the party reached the storeroom of the basement, which had been destroyed by the Yakdash inside, and attacked were attacked upon entering. When the party approached the entrance to the storeroom, Oliver attempted to quietly peek inside the room, although the damage sustained by the door prevented a silent entry, alerting the Yakdash inside who had been fighting amongst themselves over the food in the room but turned their attention to the party when they entered. Upon being spotted, the party immediately took defensive action as one of the Yakdash, who had seemingly been overpowered by the Alpha in the fight for food, decided to rush the party, screeching and dealing a moderate amount of damage to the party. In return, the party began to move to defend the doorway, using ranged attacks to supply support for Eshemi who served as the frontline in the battle. As the aggressive Yakdash continued to attack, the smaller Yakdash who had been hiding by the destroyed table lunged forward, joining the fight. As the party began to bring the Yakdash closer to death, the Alpha Yakdash who had up until now been feasting on the food and observing combat chose to attack in order to assert dominance for food when the party is killed, but it became the only surviving Yakdash as the other two perished. Shortly afterwards the Alpha Yakdash was also killed, ending combat.
