Demographics

Although many of the Oorlogans are ethnic Rijites, there are a wide portion of the population from diverse backgrounds due to the boom town nature of Oorlog.

Industry & Trade

Oorlog is based in a high-magic environment, a boom town dedicated to the discovery and excavation of the recently discovered vast Mana Crystal supplies in and under the mountains.

Guilds and Factions

Many of the nearby Miner's Guilds and the Merchant's Guild have laid claim to various sections of the Mana Crystal reserves, turning it into a guild conflict zone.

History

At the beginning of the Rijk Crystal Rush of 1916, people began to scour the region for any sign of Mana Crystals, and when a large reserve was found it was only a matter of time before Oorlog was founded, providing a base of operations for trained miners and hopeful migrants all looking for a chance to get rich.

Tourism

Although Oorlog does not have a thriving tourist industry, there are large influxes of seasonal workers who, during the dryer working months, will excavate and mine for Mana Crystals in the mountains.
