Session 2
General Summary
The second session, taking place on the 19th of August in 2023, involved the characters of Sensu (BloodMarry), Red (Erasmas), Eshemi (Yusa), Xelfy Zippletopple (Yeti), and Oliver Felixis (Mac). The session lasted from roughly 19:10 British Time to approximately 23:21 British Time, with everyone present.
The session began in Old Al's Inn, the place where the party had sought lodgings during the last session, and saw the party meet Red the Dragonborn downstairs, who promptly joined the group for the foreseeable future. At this point, the party made their way to the Merchant's guild to speak to Clarke the Clerk.
Upon arriving at the Merchant's Guild, the party was informed about the labour shortages for the Guild, who offered to provide jobs and bounties, and the party chose to take on the task of rescuing a kidnapped merchant's daughter, whereas another group took the remaining job to escort a merchant caravan. When meeting with Alf Qazir, the merchant whose daughter was abducted, the party learnt that the bandits had committed a home invasion abduction 4 days ago to kidnap Ziva Qazir, the daughter, and had been the cause of a series of robberies and kidnapping during the New Year's Festival. The party was given a bag of money containing the 120gp ransom demand from the bandits before being sent on their way to the rescue.
When arriving at the hostage exchange, the party found themselves to be in a run-down part of The Commons, and drew attention to themselves by threatening and assaulting a passer-by before entering the warehouse, finding them in 1-1 numbers with the bandits. After a short exchange, Sensu used Charm Person to help convince Safaah, the bandit leader, to peacefully handle the exchange. However, Safaah revealed his plan to triple the ransom demand, treating the current amount as a down payment for more time to collect the ransom. At this point, the party unanimously decided to execute every single bandit in sight, paralysing the bandit leader and scaring half of the gang as combat began. During combat, the party found themselves at a significant advantage as half of their enemies were too scared to approach, as they proceeded to cripple the Bandit Leader in a failed attempt to cut his left hand off, which was currently stuck holding the merchant's daughter. Shortly after this, the bandits hastily negotiated a ceasefire, releasing the party and the merchant's daughter without taking the ransom. Despite this, as the party left and bandit reinforcements arrived, Oliver threw a Psychic Dagger at one of the bandits, killing them. The party then returned with the child to the Merchant's Guild to receive payment.
When the party returned to the Merchant's Guild, they were awarded a payment and tip from Alf Qazir for returning his daughter and the ransom money, but the party warned him that he needs to be careful just in case the bandits come back for revenge. After this, the party encountered the other group, who had been injured when distracting an ambush for the caravan they had been protecting. After this, both groups went to speak to Clarke, informing him of the status of both jobs as well as a proposal to run a sting operation to catch the bandit ambushers, which Clarke agreed to help with and assigned the other group to assist the party. To relax for the rest of the day, Sensu led the party to a tavern, where he proceeded to lose a drinking contest to Mork, whilst the two groups did introductions. It was at this point that Mia informed the group she would not be staying around for long as she had to take care of business relating to the New Musician College of the Divine Sultan, which had recently shut down. Sensu proceeded to burst into laughter. After Mia finishes explaining, Eshemi also explains she needs to head West, to the same place that Mia is going, so the two will be travelling together for safety reasons. Shortly after this, the group returned to Old Al's Inn to book rooms and sleep for the night, concluding the session.

Daiven Stonebreaker, Mia Habib, Mork Greataxe and Kad Zaelark were met at Old Al's Inn and the Merchant's Guild, who initially were indifferent but eventually began to chat when they were tasked with assisting the party in a sting operation.
Notes
Yusa will not be present for the next 3 weeks, which is the cause for Eshemi to travel West once more.
