Seven Forms of Energy

There are seven main forms of energy; Chemical, Electrical, Radiant, Mechanical, Magical, Thermal and Nuclear.   Chemical Energy is a very unique form of energy, naturally existing within all matter as a latent form of energy. Some theorise that this can be transferred into Thermal energy and is what gives fire its life force.   Electrical Energy is more of a rare kind of energy, giving life to some of the more advanced machines and being responsible for some of the ancient works of past civilisations. As for how it's applied, the only explanations people have yet is that Electrical Energy is somehow related to other forms of energy, able to become and transfer from other forms of energy.   Radiant Energy is a naturally occurring form of energy, dispersing from objects similar to the slow discharge of Magic-Based Energy. Many people believe that Radiant Energy is an off-shoot of Magic-Based Energy that is derived from different sources.   Mechanical Energy is the energy found in momentum and movement, one of the main factors that engineers and physicists consider when planning experiments or projects.   Magical Energy, or Magic-Based Energy, is the most well understood form of energy, discoverable in most living beings and the planet, and is responsible for spells, magic and certain natural phenomenon. Although many aspects of Magic-Based Energy are well researched, there is still worry about what ancient civilisations referred to as "Pure Magic" and detailed it as a curse and an end-of-world scenario.   Thermal Energy is perceived to be more latent, similar to Magical Energy, and is used to describe heat and cold, vital to understanding temperature.   Nuclear Energy is very similar to Magical Energy in the way that it dissipates from matter, but it has much more destructive characteristics. Nuclear Energy is a very uncommon form of energy only found in certain radioactive materials.
