The World of Veridia
Veridia is a rich and diverse world, where you can find various races, classes, factions, religions, monsters, and more. Here are some of the main features of Veridia:
The Continents:
Veridia has four major continents, each with its own geography, climate, history, and culture. They are:
Ardania:
Ardania is the largest and most populous continent of Veridia. It is a land of civilization and progress, where kingdoms, empires, and republics vie for power and influence. Ardania is home to many human nations, such as the Valyrian Empire, the Kingdom of Lyrion, the Republic of Andaria, and the Federation of Free Cities. Ardania also has other races, such as elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes, dragonborn, tieflings, and more. Ardania is a continent of contrasts, where you can find ancient ruins and modern cities, lush forests and barren deserts, peaceful villages and war-torn battlefields.
Zalara:
Zalara is the second largest continent of Veridia. It is a land of mystery and danger, where exotic and savage creatures roam. Zalara is home to many beastfolk races, such as orcs, goblins, gnolls, lizardfolk, kobolds, and more. Zalara also has some human tribes, such as the Zalaran nomads, the jungle dwellers, and the islanders. Zalara is a continent of exploration, where you can find hidden temples and lost cities, dense jungles and vast savannas, volcanic islands and frozen mountains.
Veriditha:
Veriditha is the third largest continent of Veridia. It is a land of magic and wonder, where the fae and the arcane flourish. Veriditha is home to many fey races, such as elves, pixies, sprites, dryads, unicorns, and more. Veriditha also has some human kingdoms, such as the Kingdom of Veriditha, the Kingdom of Solaria, and the Kingdom of Lunaria. Veriditha is a continent of enchantment, where you can find enchanted forests and crystal lakes, sparkling cities and floating islands, sunlit glades and moonlit groves. It is also known for a dark necromancy that is slowly plauging the outer rims and untraveled places where death grows.
Nordheim:
Nordheim is the smallest and coldest continent of Veridia. It is a land of ice and snow, where survival is a challenge. Nordheim is home to many hardy races, such as dwarves, giants, barbarians, vikings, and more. Nordheim also has some human realms, such as the Kingdom of Nordia, the Kingdom of Frostia, and the Kingdom of Stormia. Nordheim is a continent of adventure, where you can find frozen ruins and ancient tombs, glacial caves and snowy peaks, fierce beasts and legendary dragons.
The Oceans:
Veridia has two major oceans that separate the continents: the Veridian Ocean to the west and the Zalaran Ocean to the east. The oceans are vast and deep, and harbor many secrets and dangers. The oceans are home to many aquatic races, such as merfolk, sahuagin, tritons, aquatic elves, and more. The oceans also have some human nations, such as the Maritime League, the Pirate Confederacy, and the Coral Empire. The oceans are a source of trade and travel, but also of piracy and war.
The Planes:
Veridia is not only a physical world, but also a part of a larger multiverse that consists of various planes of existence. The planes are realms that embody different aspects of reality, such as elements, alignments, concepts, and deities. The planes are connected by portals and can be accessed by magic or special devices. Some of the most important planes are:
The Material Plane:
The Material Plane is the plane where Veridia exists. It is the plane of matter and physical reality. It is also the plane where most mortals live and where most adventures take place.
The Ethereal Plane:
The Ethereal Plane is a plane that coexists with the Material Plane. It is a plane of mist and shadows that can be used to travel between different locations or planes. It is also a plane where some creatures such as ghosts or ethereal filchers dwell.
The Shadowfell:
The Shadowfell is a plane that parallels the Material Plane. It is a plane of darkness and gloom that reflects the negative aspects of the Material Plane. It is also a plane where some creatures such as undead or shadow dragons dwell.
The Feywild:
The Feywild is a plane that parallels the Material Plane. It is a plane of light and color that reflects the positive aspects of the Material Plane. It is also a plane where some creatures such as fey or eladrin dwell.
The Elemental Planes:
The Elemental Planes are planes that embody the four classical elements: fire, water, air, and earth. They are planes of pure energy and matter that are the source of magic and creation. They are also planes where some creatures such as elementals or genies dwell.
The Outer Planes:
The Outer Planes are planes that embody the nine alignments: lawful good, neutral good, chaotic good, lawful neutral, true neutral, chaotic neutral, lawful evil, neutral evil, and chaotic evil. They are planes of morality and philosophy that are the home of the gods and their servants. They are also planes where some creatures such as angels, devils, demons, or modrons dwell.
