Much of the continent has ancient Dwarven ruins below major cities or even out in the wilderness. There are rumors that the ancient Dwarves had mines and underground pathways that link throughout the entire continent and even go farther below.
In modern times, the Dwarves are a broken people without a home. They are scattered throughout every region in Votum as wanderers. Some manage to find roots but most long for a time of their old stories of grand halls filled with drink and laughter.
