The spectral realm

There where ghost wonder, where the living dont belong

The spectral realm is a shadow of the physical realm, that which is when you close your eyes. it looks exactly the same, and places in the spectral realm are the same as in the physical realm, but beings in the spectral realm are invisible to beings in the physical realm, unless the have an ability that allows them to see into the spectral realm, which is rare but not impossible. physical objects appear the same when you're in the spectral realm, but living beings you see as their souls, their energy. 
It is very difficult to affect the physical world when you are in the spectral world, everything seems twice as heavy, if you traveled to the spectral realm with your physical body, your own body will also feel twice as heavy, making even just walking or standing twice as difficult, but if you leave your body behind, you can soar through the sky.
  This first requires you to die though.
The spectral realm is the world of ghosts, of spirits, and of magical beings that have abandoned the constraints of physical form.
