Avina is a young sky pirate who was starting to make a name for herself on the skyship The Drunken Skies before the ship fell out of the sky over southern Virasia leaving her as the only survivor. Since then word is she has been looking for a new ship to work on but her known past as a sky pirate is keeping her from working on legitimate ships and sky pirates view having crash survivors on their ship as bad luck.

I hate pirates. I hate pirates in the air a little less. Regardless, sky pirates are known to be a bit more skilled at working skyships than other skyship sailors and I wouldn't say we are in a place to be too picky about our crew.
