Darek Brightblade is an independent monster hunter from the renowned Brightblade family of Noctirnan. Despite being more renowned back in Noctirnan he has been currently working out of Wavecrest and hunting the monsters of Akios. Like many Brightblades, Darek is known to work alone or in groups no larger than four. He is also known to have the renowned Brightblade training and knowledge about monsters that many other veterans find themselves lacking. 

Rumors:

• His family has had a long feud with the Blood Court of Noctirnan
• His whip is a family heirloom made and blessed by a Saint from long ago
• He's looking for something on Akios
• With his family backing him he'll one day have authority equal to some of the major Blood Hunter Clans
