Saint
A title given to unique individuals of incredible power, Saints are mortal embodiments of certain aspects. Similar to a god's domain Saints have powers that allow them to specialize in a specific domain. For example, the Saint of Wind, a Krystali by the name of Dronyx, is capable of flight via wind, creation, and control of tornados as well as creating blades of solid wind that are as tough as steel. Now much like the Saint of Wind, a Saint has no control over which domain they have power over and sometimes gets one that contradicts their race or personality. Besides unique powers involving their domain Saints also have lifespans of the far greater than that of others of their race. Given the immense power Saints have, it is not uncommon for a Saint to have worshippers or a cult that follows them.
Appointment
For ages scholars around the world have searched for what causes someone to become a Saint but have yet to truly discover the cause. Some scholars believe that Saints are chosen by the remaining gods to replace the ranks of their fallen, while others believe Saints are mortal reincarnations of past gods and many other theories. Despite the numerous theories no scholar has come close to uncovering the truth. While what causes someone to be a Saint is unknown scholars have noticed that there are two types of Saints. There are those who are born Saints and there are some who become Saints later in life. There is currently no known difference between the two in terms of power.
Duties
Saints have no set responsibilities or duties. Quite simply it is rare for a mortal to have a power greater than a Saint so many Saints do as they wish. Some are heroes, some lead churches, and others choose more villainous paths. It all depends on the Saint.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
There has been no known case of a Saint losing their power permanently. All Saints are still mortal despite how tough they are and do one day fall in battle or die of very old age.
