Angul's Magnificent Wings

Angul's Magnificent Wings are an amazing feat of The Finite Races. Originally developed in Corevia to allow quick travel through that craggy and mountainous landscape, these wings are used with no magic, allowing you to glide through the air for over ten miles with sufficient height. In Corevia, almost every middle class household has at least one pair of Angul's Wings, but the care for a pair of these wings is a heavy burden and duty. The wings are a precise collection of gears, pulleys, wooden beams, and two leather wings, and they must be kept in peak condition to function at their full potential and gliding capabilities. There are also magical variants of these wings, which allows for an occasional upward gust of wind to keep you aloft nearly indefinitely, but the most come and most used model does not have any magical components.

Power Generation

The wings use aerodynamics to their fullest, allowing for maximum gliding power. There are internal moving parts, but most to do with steering and such, so the driver can manually avoid incoming obstacles. Steering is usually controlled by two handles, which each can be pulled back to steer in that direction. The angle of the turn depends on how far and quick the handle is pulled back.

Weapons & Armament

There have been past attempts to militarize Angul's Magnificent Wings, but none have been successful yet. The wings can not take the weight of light armor protecting the inner workings of the wings, which must be protecting if this vehicle is to be militarized.

Can range anywhere from 100 GP to 200 GP, depending on the state of the wings and the state of their inner workings.

Quite common, especially in Corevia, which is where the wings were first invented and used.
