General Info

The traditions of the Order of Wizardry may be strange, but few are stranger than recreational cerebrum swapping. Cerebrum swap is a peculiar magical effect that allows the minds of two beings to be temporarily swapped, shifting two minds between two bodies. When cerebrum swapping, two individuals are targeted by the spell Cerebrum Swap or two individuals drink two connected vials of a potion of cerebrum swap. From there, the two users will begin to feel nauseous, foggy, and lightheaded. After two to three minutes of these symptoms slowly intensifying, both users will have a sudden but short headache and both of the users' minds will be magically swapped for a duration.

Motivations to Cerebrum Swap

People recreationally cerebrum swap for a multitude of reasons: much-needed excitement, sexual curiosity, and many other motivations. Many simply do it as a one-time experience because of its popularity throughout the Order of Wizardry. No one quite knows when Cerebrum Swapping began to gain popularity in the Order of Wizardry, but it is known that its growth in popularity started off very gradually and increased exponentially from there.

Creation and overall acceptance

Cerebrum Swapping just recently became mainstream around 1350 Partum Globus. For this reason, there have been no observed short and long-term side effects of cerebrum swapping, and the overall acceptance of the general public is good. However, some suspect that there are hidden side effects of cerebrum swapping that has yet to be discovered.

Causes

There are two known ways to cause cerebrum swapping: using the 2nd level spell Cerebrum Swap or by using a Potion of Cerebrum Swapping. Cerebrum swapping has been known to be used in dungeon traps as well, activating magically using a pressure plate or tripwire.

Symptoms

After about thirty seconds of Cerebrum Swap being cast or the user drink a Potion of Cerebrum Swapping, both users will begin to fell unbalanced and tired. About one minute later, they will both begin to feel nauseous, foggy, and lightheaded. these symptoms usually intensify over the course of thirty seconds, at the end of which both users have sudden and jarring pain inside of their skulls and the back of their necks. After the pain subsides, the cerebrum swap is complete.
