Fairykind
Throughout all of the Wraith Globe, one species of the Feywild has multiplied and spread to nearly every plane within both the traversal and intraversal Wraith Globe: the Fairy. Although they may seem frivolous and timid, Fairies are surprisingly hardy creatures. In the tightest situations, an entire community of Fairies can survive on a single tree, plant, or even a single thought of beauty and nature from a passing traveler. Although, Fairykind cannot help but emulate the landscape around them. Most fairies try their hardest to emulate the lushest and most beautiful things they can find, but they cannot help but emulate the darker sides of a darker place. Fairies in Underdark dress in dark shadowy blacks, greys, and browns, sprinkled with as much green as they can muster. Fairies in Mechanus ornate themselves in metallic tones highlighted with the colors of a lone flower or sprout that they safeguard in a hidden nook within whirring gears and machinery. Of course, fairies need greenery to act as their life force, but their carefree attitude helps to distract them from this reality, protecting them for longer than they would survive normally. In a sense, ignorance is bliss for the fairies of the Wraith Globe.
Basic Information
Growth Rate & Stages
Unlike the other Finite Races, Young fairies usually "pop out of" a young tree or other forms of nature. In this way, nature itself acts as the heritage and family of Fairykind.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Almost as if by fate, nature continually provides the dietary needs of the Fairies around them, usually in the form of rich feasts full of produce. Fairies rarely consume meat, but will if they are starving and the opportunity appears.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Along with the five senses present in all of the other Finite Races, Fairykind can also sense and telepathically communicate any wholesome vegetation under the dominion of the High Lord of Nature. However, this telepathy is far more subtle than what may be expected. Fairies can sense the disposition and general mood of nature and creatures, both that under the dominion of the lord of nature and that which is not under it.
