General Info

The Feywild is a diverse place filled to the brim with bizarre locales, unique creatures, and beautiful flora and fauna. The Bed of Romance is no exception. Located in the Feywild parallel to The Bed of Roses in the Material Plane, many bizarre and otherworldly creatures and plants live in this oasis of color and life. Many an unwary adventure is fooled by this seemingly innocent and vibrant facade, but The Bed of Romance is one of the most dangerous places in all of Gearva, contrary to its name. Almost every square inch of the bed is occupied by some sort of creature or plant and the canopy stretches nearly sixty feet in the air in some places. Furthermore, over half of all flora and fauna in The Bed of Romance is either, poisonous, carnivorous, or deadly in some other way, making this beautiful spectacle a living and crawling death trap. One wrong step here can spell out an unwary adventurer's brutal demise, and few who ever enter the bed live to tell the tale...

Geography

The Bed of Romance resembles a sort of massive colorful rain forest surrounding the entire base of what the Finite Peoples refer to as Mount Karar'at.

Fauna & Flora

The Bed of Romance is absolutely brimming with diverse flora and fauna. Some ecologists have even estimated that over 15,000 species of plants, animals, and fungi live in the entire Bed of Romance, which covers approximately 1,000 square miles in its totality. Furthermore, many of the species of plants that can be found in The Bed of Romance can only be there, making many of the plant species in this area completely undiscovered and undocumented.
