The Birth of The Tarrasque
The Birth of The Tarrasque is a classic myth of the Wraith Globe, used by parents all over to explain that sometimes, restrain is the better option.
Summary
In the myth, Niasna, the Lady of Strength of Body, and Garrotha, The Lord of Emotion, fell in love. Both of them loved each other, but they both knew that if they made a union too quickly, the other Lords and Ladies would not be pleased with the two, saying that they should have consulted others first. However, neither of them thought it would matter in the end. However, they couldn't have been more wrong, and they would pay with their lives. The two passionate lovers did everything together: Took strolls through The Wraith Globe, journeyed and met the little folk whho called themselves the Peoples of The Finite Races. They were both loving their company. Garrotha felt he was ready for a full union with Niasna, but she felt that she was not yet strong enough or devoted enough to Garrotha, so they waited. Years passed by, and Niasna still did not feel that she was ready, however, Garrotha was growing impatient. He journeyed to see Bo'al, the Lord of Love, to seek his council. Bo'al told Garrotha that he should seek to please his lover more than himself above all else, so Garrotha continued to wait... Meanwhile, Niasna was having her doubts about Garrotha. She felt that her love for him had been only momentary, that her mind had been clouded by passion. She went to see Garrotha, to tell him she didn't want to follow through, but when Garrotha heard this, he tricked Niasna weak mind with his emotion. For almost a year, Niasna heart was trapped by Garrotha power, so much so that when she finally broke free, all she wanted to do was be with him. They slept together, and Niasna became pregnant. But this was no normal child... This was a creature just as clouded by blind emotion as Niasna had been. Niasna died giving birth to this beast, and Garrotha was also slain by his own spawn, what The Finite Races now know as the Tarrasque.
